Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in October 2023 increased compared to September 2023, namely from US$874.78 million to US$948.39 million or an increase of 8.41 percent. When compared with October 2022, North Sumatra's exports decreased by 11.88 percent.
The value of imports through North Sumatra in October 2023 on a CIF (cost, insurance & freight) basis was US$473.64 million or an increase of 2.35 percent compared to September 2023 which was US$462.76 million. When compared with the same month in the previous year, the value of imports increased by 3.88 percent.
