Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in September 2023 decreased compared to August 2023, namely from US$924.97 million to US$874.78 million or a decrease of 5.43 percent. When compared with September 2022, North Sumatra's exports decreased by 23.76 percent.

The value of imports through North Sumatra in September 2023 on a CIF (cost, insurance & freight) basis was US$462.76 million or decreased by 4.10 percent compared to August 2023 which was US$482.53 million. When compared with the same month in the previous year, the value of imports decreased by 12.37 percent
