Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in June 2024 decreased compared to May 2024, namely from US$869.13 million to US$861.32 million or decreased by 0.90 percent. When compared to June 2023, North Sumatra's exports decreased by 4.34 percent.

The import value through North Sumatra in June 2024 on a CIF (cost, insurance & freight) basis was US$455.52 million or down 9.01 percent compared to May 2024 which was valued at US$500.61 million. When compared to the same month in the previous year, the import value decreased by 4.39 percent
