Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in April 2024 decreased compared to March 2024, namely from US$861.14 million to US$697.13 million or a decrease of 19.05 percent. When compared with April 2023, North Sumatra's exports decreased by 0.13 percent.

The value of imports through North Sumatra in April 2024 on a CIF (cost, insurance & freight) basis was US$432.85 million or decreased by 5.05 percent compared to March 2024 which was worth US$455.86 million. When compared with the same month in the previous year, the value of imports increased by 10.42 percent
