Abstract

The Gender Inequality Index (IKG) for 2022 has decreased compared to the previous year. North Sumatra's IKG was 0.442 (down 0.003) points compared to 2021 which was 0.445.

The decline in the Gender Inequality Index (IKG) in North Sumatra Province was mainly influenced by improvements in the dimensions of reproductive health and empowerment dimensions.

The decline in gender inequality occurred in most districts/cities of North Sumatra Province
