Abstract

In September 2022, (the level of inequality in population spending as measured by) North Sumatra's Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.326. This figure increased by 0.014 points when compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2022 and increased by 0.013 points when compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2021 which was 0.313.

The Gini Ratio in urban areas in September 2022 was recorded at 0.358, while in rural areas it was 0.259. Both urban and rural areas experienced an increase of 0.015 points and 0.010 points respectively when compared to the March 2022 Gini Ratio.
