Abstract

In March 2023, (the level of inequality in population spending as measured by) North Sumatra's Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.309. This figure decreased by 0.017 points when compared to the September 2022 Gini Ratio and also decreased by 0.003 points when compared to the March 2022 Gini Ratio which was 0.312.
The Gini Ratio in urban areas in March 2023 was recorded at 0.340, while in rural areas it was 0.242. Both in urban and rural areas decreased by 0.018 points and 0.017 points respectively when compared to the September 2022 Gini Ratio.
