The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Toba Regency conducted training for Field Officers for the 2025 National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN) for Toba Regency. The training was carried out online via virtual zoom for 1 (one) effective day. The officers trained were 24 PKH Assistants from the Social Service and 1 PKH Assistant Coordinator. With National Instructors, Marissa Sinaga from the BPS of Toba Regency and the PKH Assistant Coordinator of the Toba Regency Social Service, Rammen Sinaga who delivered material related to the use of applications in field data collection and data collection strategies.
The Head of BPS of Toba Regency, Sabar Alberto Harianja gave a welcoming speech and direction. In his direction, he conveyed the importance of data collection and explained the role of BPS in the 2025 DTSEN Activities. The Head of BPS hopes that officers will work enthusiastically and follow all the SOPs taught by the National Instructor and understand the Concept and Definition of each question so that the data produced is of high quality.
The Head of the Toba Regency Social Service, Lalo Hartono Simanjuntak also gave a welcoming speech and direction as well as opening the 2025 Toba Regency DTSEN officer training. In his direction, the Head of the Social Service conveyed that all training participants take the training seriously, master the Definition Concept and implement the SOP as taught by the National Instructor. The Head of the Social Service also explained the purpose of the DTSEN data collection and hoped that with this DTSEN the data produced would be of high quality and the assistance provided would be more targeted.
The National Economic Statistics Single Data (DTSEN) is a single database of individuals and/or families that contains the socio-economic conditions of the Indonesian population. DTSEN has been matched with population data. DTSEN is also used to support the integration of national development programs and synergy between Ministries, Institutions and Regional Governments. This aims to make development more measurable and sustainable. In accordance with Presidential Instruction Number 4 of 2025 concerning DTSEN, the Ministry of Social Affairs synchronizes with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in producing DTSEN.
The role of BPS is to assist the training process for standardized PKH facilitators and provide instructors. In addition, assisting the process of monitoring ground checking in the field through coordination and communication between the Provincial and Regency/City BPS with the Regional Government through the relevant Agency and assisting in monitoring Ground Checking (GC) in the field. The role of the Ministry of Social Affairs through PKH Facilitators is to conduct field checks (ground checking) to ensure the existence of Inclusion and Exclusion Error families and individuals with inactive NIK.
The data collected in the DTSEN data collection includes Individual Data consisting of population data, education, employment, income, skills, business ownership, disability, health and Family Data consisting of demographic information and housing information.
Through this training, officers are expected to be able to collect data professionally, follow the SOPs that have been taught and ensure data quality to support data-based policy making. Horas.
