Abstract

The Gender Inequality Index (IKG) in 2023 has decreased compared to the previous year. North Sumatra's IKG was 0.425 (down 0.017 points) compared to 2022 which was 0.442.

The decline in the Gender Inequality Index (IKG) in North Sumatra Province was mainly influenced by improvements in the reproductive health dimension and the labor market dimension.
