The Advanced Population Census 2020 is a follow-up activity from the Population Census 2020 by collecting data using a more detailed questionnaire (long form). The activities that will result from the Advanced Population Census 2020 are the number, distribution and composition of the population; data for demographic calculations; the calculation of the Maternal Mortality Rate Indicator; Population Projection Calculation; Provision of population and housing characteristics data; source of data from population indicators for SDGs that cannot be obtained from other sources.
The 2020 Population Census Continued activity will be held on May 15 – June 30, 2022. The success of an activity needs to get a lot of support from various parties, especially in Toba Regency such as support from the Regional Government, Heads of Institutions, Religious Forums, Customs, and all levels of society. In this regard, it is necessary to carry out the Socialization of the 2020 Continued Population Census Activities.
The Population Census Socialization Activity 2020 (Long Form SP2020) was carried out on June 9, 2022 at the Marsaringar Hotel, Balige with invitations from various parties including the Toba Regent who was represented by the Regional Secretary, Drs. Augus Sitorus, OPD Leader, Camat from all areas of Toba Regency, Mr/Mrs Lurah from selected sample areas and from the Religious Forum. This event was opened directly by the Regional Secretary where he advised all invited guests to support the success of this activity and directed all OPD leaders, Camat, Lurah to inform all levels of society to accept every LF SP2020 officer when collecting data.
