Abstract

The number of domestic passengers arriving in North Sumatra through Kualanamu International Airport in July 2024 reached 214,016 people, or an increase of 5.77 percent compared to the previous month which was 202,336 people.
The number of air passengers to foreign destinations, both using national and foreign flights, in July 2024 decreased by 11.88 percent compared to June 2024, namely from 100,076 people to 88,189 people.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers (domestic) departing from Belawan Port in July 2024 was recorded at 18,074 people, an increase of 56.48 percent compared to the previous month which was 11,550 people, while the number of passengers arriving in July 2024 was recorded at 15,379 people, or an increase of 36.17 percent compared to the previous month which was 11,294 people.
During July 2024, inter-island freight transportation for loading activities amounted to 40,291 tons, or an increase of 38.17 percent compared to June 2024 of 29,161 tons.
Unloading activities in July 2024 increased by 49.24 percent, from 414,088 tons in June 2024 to 617,974 tons in July 2024.
