Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (wisman) visiting North Sumatra through 4 (four) entry points in June 2024 reached 14,830 visits, while in May 2024 there were 20,616 foreign tourists who visited North Sumatra.

In the period January - June 2024, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra increased by 22.51 percent when compared to the same period in 2023, namely from 94,659 visits in January - June 2023 to 115,966 visits in the period 2024.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in North Sumatra in June 2024 averaged 48.70 percent, or decreased by 0.66 points compared to May 2024 which was 49.36 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at starred hotels was 1.35 days during June 2024, up 0.01 points compared to May 2024 of 1.34 days.
