Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Sumatra through 4 (four) entrances in February 2024 reached 24,764 visits, while in January 2024 there were 14,851 foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra.

For the January - February 2024 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra increased by 35.29 percent when compared to the same period in 2023, namely from 29,282 visits in January - February 2023, it rose to 39,615 visits in the 2024 period.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in North Sumatra in February 2024 averaged 48.06 percent, or an increase of 3.26 points compared to January 2024 of 44.80 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.40 days during February 2024, an increase of 0.12 points compared to January 2024 of 1.28 days.
