Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Sumatra through 4 (four) entrances in April 2024 reached 25,748 visits, while in March 2024 there were 15,155 foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra.

For the January - April 2024 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra increased by 30.65 percent when compared to the same period in 2023, namely from 61,629 visits in January - April 2023, increasing to 80,520 visits in the 2024 period.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in North Sumatra in April 2024 averaged 48.06 percent, or an increase of 4.57 points compared to March 2024 of 43.49 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.37 days during April 2024, down 0.13 points compared to March 2024 of 1.50 days.
