Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Sumatra through 4 (four) entrances in March 2024 reached 15,155 visits, while in February 2024 there were 24,766 foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra.

For the January - March 2024 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra increased by 20.44 percent when compared to the same period in 2023, namely from 45,478 visits in January - March 2023, it rose to 54,772 visits in the 2024 period.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in North Sumatra in March 2024 averaged 43.49 percent, or down 4.57 points compared to February 2024 of 48.06 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.50 days during March 2024, an increase of 0.10 points compared to February 2024 of 1.40 days.
