Abstract

The number of domestic passengers coming to North Sumatra through Kualanamu International Airport in February 2024 reached 179,372 people, or down 9.73 percent compared to the previous month of 198,706 people.

The number of air transport passengers to foreign destinations, both using national and foreign flights, in February 2024 increased by 0.99 percent compared to January 2024, namely from 91,868 people to 92,782 people.

The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transportation passengers departing from Belawan Harbor in February 2024 was recorded at 7,940 people, down 69.63 percent compared to the previous month of 26,142 people, while the number of passengers arriving in February 2024 was recorded at 6,568 people, or down 51.50 percent compared to the previous month of 13,541 people.

During February 2024, inter-island goods transportation for loading activities amounted to 9,183 tonnes, or an increase of 3.87 percent compared to January 2024 of 8,841 tonnes.

Goods unloading activities in February 2024 decreased by 30.77 percent, from 548,045 tons in January 2024 to 379,388 tons in February 2024
