Abstract

The number of domestic passengers coming to North Sumatra through Kualanamu International Airport in November 2023 reached 254,894 people, or an increase of 23.70 percent compared to the previous month of 206,056 people.

The number of air transport passengers to foreign destinations, both using national and foreign flights, in December 2023 increased by 21.12 percent compared to November 2023, namely from 74,547 people to 90,288 people.

The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transportation passengers departing from Belawan Harbor in December 2023 was recorded at 13,841 people, an increase of 75.89 percent compared to the previous month of 7,869 people, while the number of passengers arriving in December 2023 was recorded at 22,421 people, or an increase 204.01 percent compared to the previous month of 7,375 people.

During December 2023, inter-island freight transportation for goods loading activities amounted to 25,857 tonnes, or an increase of 40.12 percent compared to November 2023 of 18,454 tonnes.
