FGD on Budget Implementation and Financial Reporting for November 2024

BPS Toba Regency participated in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) related to Budget Implementation and Financial Reporting for November 2024. This activity was carried out online via Microsoft Teams by KPPN Balige on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Participants in the activity included the Budget User Authority and financial management staff from the Work Units in the KPPN Balige area, which includes North Tapanuli Regency, Toba Regency, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, and Samosir Regency. Also present from BPS Toba were Financial Managers, Martina Situmorang and Marissa Sinaga.

This FGD discussed four main agendas: Press Release for the November 2024 State Budget, Regional Economic Analysis, Evaluation of Work Unit Budget Implementation, and Assistance in Compiling Financial Reports (LK).

The first agenda was filled with a presentation by the Head of the Balige KPPN, Oktana Yudha Sakti, regarding the progress of the Balige KPPN APBN performance until November 2024. Meanwhile, the Head of the Toba Regency BPS, Sabar Alberto Harianja, was given the opportunity to discuss the second agenda, namely related to regional economic analysis. On that occasion, Sabar Alberto Harianja delivered a presentation entitled "Toba Regency Employment: Has It Been Better?". The presentation began with a brief explanation of the concepts and definitions used by BPS in collecting employment data, then continued with the development of the latest employment indicators in Toba Regency, including the 2024 TPT of 1.09 and the 2024 TPAK of 82.57. Compared to 2023, the TPT figure in Toba Regency decreased by 0.21 percent, while the TPAK increased by 1.70 percent. The increase in the Toba Regency TPAK shows that there has been an increase in the population who have the potential to work compared to the previous year. The third agenda was continued with the delivery of the Budget Implementation Evaluation by the Head of the PDMS Section of the Balige KPPN, Amirudin, and ended with a discussion of the fourth agenda by the Head of the VeraKI Section, Jaruli Simanullang regarding the Assistance in Compiling Financial Reports (LK).
