The development of tourists in Indonesia over the past few years is quite encouraging, especially the Lake Toba region has also become one of the tourist destinations for domestic and foreign tourists. The development of tourism in Toba Samosir has greatly improved so infrastructure must also be more adequate and better.

The activity of collecting data / information regarding the number of accommodations or hotels as well as various hotel characteristics is needed in tourism activities. This activity is known as Statistics of Monthly Accommodation Services (VHT-S). Regarding the purpose and objectives of the enumeration activities Monthly Accommodation Services (VHT-S) is to obtain data on various indicators of business development, such as occupancy rates of hotel rooms, nights of rooms used, number of guests coming and staying, average length of stay guests and nights guests stay.

The respondent's scope in this activity is hotel and lodging, tourist cottage which is around the area of Toba Samosir Regency. This activity took place in all regions of Indonesia with the officers being BPS employees. January is just the beginning of the month that is practically relaxed, it's only MYTH. Does not apply to BPS because of the dense activities that have been waiting in line to do ... Keep up the good work!
